Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the top sandbox-like games on the Android platform showed varied performance in Egypt. The following analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $12.2K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads experienced a peak of around 52.8K in the week of February 5, while weekly active users ranged from 1.8M at the start of January to 1.6M by mid-March, before ending the quarter at 1.7M.

Naver Z Corporation's ZEPETO: Avatar, Connect & Live had a significant jump in weekly revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching up to $4.8K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads varied, peaking at 1.6K in mid-February. The active user base showed a slight decline, moving from 105.5K at the beginning of January to 80.0K by the end of March.

Minecraft from Mojang displayed relatively stable weekly revenue throughout the quarter, with a high point of about $538 in the last week of January. Weekly downloads were quite low, with only a few downloads in early January and none reported in the latter part of the quarter. Active users remained consistent, ranging from 36 to 42.
